Had some holiday returns at stores only in the fancy local mall (failed! That’s an outlet item, sir!). Here are the cars
The urus is not a SUV. It comes up to my chin. It's smaller than an outback. It's a sedan/hatchback. We should all love it. It might as well be a lambo wagon.

All the malls around Stlouis are dead or dying.

I wonder if you could slap the suspension from the Urus’ lower platform mates on it, like the Forester people do with WRX parts.
Cool mall cars, mine only gets Kias and Hyundais

Driving a Bentley to J. Crew is on brand

Damn. Certainly the fanciest cars I’ve seen at a mall. That’s closer than I can get to the them at the car show.

The mall cars here tend to be SUVs from the Jaguar/Volvo dealer so not nearly as interesting. I might actually go to the mall once in a while if they had Bentleys, Lambos or Aston Martins parked in it.

The regular mall is similar. This is the fancy mall. Dc lobbyists have to shop somewhere

50-50. Lower end suburbs, yeah. This particular area, this mall and the one across the street (regular person mall) are some of the highest grossing in the country

It is fancy!

I always thought of the Urus as “rally Lambo”, so it’s alright in my book.

It would probably be great at that, if a little expensive when parts break

Yeah they should have built it as a highend Raptor competitor

This reminds me of the time my wife, kids and I walked into Phipps Plaza in Atlanta (Buckhead), too a look at the Bentleys on display and the fashion of the patrons, and were like “Yeah, I don’t think we belong here”. Sort of ironic that the third floor has a Legoland Discovery C enter and a bunch of chain restaurants like Moe’s and Johnny Rocket’s . Actually, that’s how they get the riff-raff off the floor. First time I’ve ever seen a food court NOT on the ground floor.
Coolest new car I ever saw in a mall: Isuzu Vehicross, yellow.

The biggest mall in my area has real fancy stuff like Acuras on display. There is a disparity here. I want cool cars!

Don’t think that would do much, seeing as it’s on the Cayenne/Q7 “ platform” . Everything’s on modular architectures instead of platforms these days anyway. Maybe the S6/S7 have compatible suspension hard points? Pretty much ev erything longitudinal from the VAG group (A4 up, basically) is on the same MLBEvo architecture.

I saw my first Urus in person a couple weeks ago - it reminds me a lot of the new Audi Q27.5 or whatever the number is, but with a pointy nose. Not bad looking, just more conservative than I had pictured it.
